Privacy Policy

Bright Puzzles (iPad app) · Effective date: June 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Bright Idea Software ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Bright Puzzles app for iPad (the "App"). The short version: the App has no accounts, we do not operate servers that store your personal data, and the only third-party data collection is for advertising — which you control through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other contact information. We do not collect, store, or have access to:

Advertising and Tracking

The free version of the App shows banner ads served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To support this, Google may collect:

On first use, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether to allow tracking. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are served in non-personalized mode. You can change this anytime in iPadOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Google's use of advertising data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices.

Removing Ads

An optional auto-renewable subscription removes all ads. Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account; we never see your payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Subscriptions are governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement.

Content Catalog

The App downloads its puzzle picture catalog from Apple's CloudKit public database. These requests do not include personal information beyond what is technically necessary (such as your IP address) to deliver the content.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will help address it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights regarding personal data, such as access or deletion. Because we do not hold your personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google through the links above — but you can always contact us and we will do our best to help. Resetting your device's advertising identifier (Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising) and disabling tracking also limit data collection going forward.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
